The Meerkats
No relation to Meerkat! The Meerkats was a British indie rock band. A power trio, all of the band members lived in or around the Derby area, starting the group in summer 2005 after a chance meeting in a Nottingham music shop. Their EP 'Meerkats on Patrol' was released in 2007, with the band taking insparation from Jellyfish and Ben Folds.
