the studs were a rock band formed by 大佑 (Daisuke, formerly of 蜉蝣) and aie (aie, formerly of Deadman, a fellow indies band that disbanded in 2007) in 2007 in Japan. yukino (formerly of GULLET) and 響 (Hibiki) also joined on bass and drums, respectively. Also worth noting is that aie, yukino, and Hibiki previously worked together in the band kein, and yukino was also a part of Deadman in 2000. the studs released their debut mini album studs in June 2007 before starting a two-month, one-man tour, spread from warm rain, the day after its release. This tour included a date in Paris, France.
