A singer/songwriter from Slovenia, who moves between various genres, from jazz, chanson, poetry set to music to urban beats.
Katja studied music in Slovenia and abroad and was accepted to New School, Jazz&Contemporary music program in 2005. She reached wider audience with her debut album MILA (Sanje, 2008), a project that set to music the poetry of Slovene actress and poetess Mila Kačič. Her second album TWISTED DELIGHT (Celinka, 2013) continues the playful intertwine of music and poetry, this time exploring Katja's own poetic lyrics originating from New York poetry workshops.
