Starred is an American band that formed in 2012 in New York City, New York by vocalist and guitarist Liza Thorn, and guitarist Matthew Koshak. Thorn, a California native, moved to New York and formed the band with Koshak, releasing their first EP Prison To Prison in November 2012. Their musical style evokes elements of alternative rock, experimental, and folk music. In 2013, the band toured with Courtney Love.
