Rainbow addict was invented in Moscow, Russia at the end of 2010 by Ivan Ilyin (Van). He decided at that time to breathe the life into ideas and experiences which remained unrealized during long DJ’s and music-creating career as the ex-member of the Russian psy-trance project Neospherix. The essence of new project at its beginning was only the creation of some non-trance tracks, but a short time later it was finally decided to focus on the progressive house sounding.
